Buy and Sell Bitcoin from Bitomats

Step 1: Select Location

Find the closest Localcoin Bitomat near you.

All you need is your wallet’s address QR code and cash!

Step 2: Select Crypto

Once you're at a Localcoin Bitomat, select Bitcoin from the list of cryptocurrencies available.

Step 3: Scan Wallet 

Use your wallet's QR code, and hold it up to the Bitomat's camera. Don't have a wallet? See here for our recommendations.

Step 4: Insert Cash & Receive Bitcoin

Insert the amount of cash equivalent to the Bitcoin you purchased. A receipt will be sent via SMS.

We accept PLN and EUR at all our locations in Poland.

Our Bitcoin ATMs accept PLN and EUR in the following denominations:

  • 10 zł, 20 zł, 50 zł, 100 zł.
  • €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200

The minimum amount of Bitcoin (and other coins) you can buy from a Localcoin ATM is 30zł — the smallest denomination that you can insert. The maximum amount is 4,000zł (or €995) per transaction.

Our prices for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies are based on the market rates, plus an exchange fee, similar to how currency exchanges handle fiat money.

You cannot enter your wallet address manually. Please make sure you have a scannable QR code (printed out or on your smartphone or tablet) before going to any Localcoin Bitomat.

No. All Localcoin Bitomats are cash-only and can accept either Polish or Euro banknotes.

All users are required to supply a Polish phone number and complete a one-time password ("OTP") authentication to register on our platform. This process is necessary for receiving receipts after your purchases.

Additionally, for your protection and in compliance with federal laws, you will be asked to complete a Know Your Customer ("KYC") verification at specified thresholds. This will require you to provide your name, home address, occupation, and a government-issued identification ("ID"), such as a driver's license or passport, for authentication against a "selfie" image. All of your personal information is securely stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

All Localcoin transactions are processed immediately, provided they are sent to the correct address. Once you have confirmed with 100% certainty that the address is correct, transaction completion times can vary due to blockchain delays. Typically, transactions take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.

Please note that some wallets may not display your Bitcoin until the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain. This confirmation process usually takes about 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on network conditions.

Yes, sending us a picture or screenshot will better help us understand the issue you are experiencing. Please send the image to [email protected] along with a detailed description of the problem. This will allow us to resolve it as quickly as possible for you.

All Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, no matter where they are conducted. Only the recipient can return the funds. Therefore, Localcoin Bitomats cannot offer refunds.

Bitcoin technology can detect typos and will prevent you from sending funds to an invalid address. However, it is crucial to confirm that you have the correct QR code or wallet address before scanning it into the machine.

Additionally, be cautious of anyone claiming that you owe money to the government and requesting Bitcoin payments. These individuals are scammers. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately and contact the police.
